Overall Aims of Course:

The aim of this course is to provide cutting-edge information of equine diseases that are most commonly affecting horses and donkeys in Egypt and their treatment. This will enable students to gain skills for accurate diagnosis, differential diagnosis and treatment of these disease problems. Diseases of digestive, respiratory and cardiovascular systems are of particular concern in adult equine patient. Sport medicine is introduced recently to be relevant for racehorses. Moreover, diseases of foals received a particular attention during this course especially diseases of Arabian foals.
